Day 1: drone lights show, coin laundry and Bollywood music
When we arrived in Busan (부산) after getting off the KTX train, we took a taxi to our hotel.
From the taxi, we saw a drone lights show happening.
We were hoping it wasn't the last show, so we could see it up close.
Our hotel was in a district called Gwangalli (광안리).
We checked in, dropped our luggage in the room, then went out for a night walk, hoping to catch a drone lights show.

Luckily, it really wasn't the last drone lights show, and we managed to watch one from very close.

After the show, we went to eat and decided to try döner kebab in South Korea.

It was a big mistake, especially for Gozu and Mezu.
Instead of the real round döner bread, they got served theirs in hot-dog bread. Disastrous.
Luckily I ordered mine with dürüm bread, so it was fine for me.
Yes, I am indeed throwing in Turkish words, in a blog post about South Korea, fight me.
Anyways, after eating, we went for a walk on the beach.

I was the only cunt walking in the water, probably because I was the only cunt wearing sandals instead of shoes.
Who the hell walks on a beach with shoes on, are you guys even trying?!
After the beach walk, we went back to the hotel and decided to look for a coin laundry, since we had a bunch of dirty laundry to wash, especially me.

Man I love South Korea and Japan.
They have 24/7 coin laundries, and 24/7 convenience stores.
It's so nice to have for creatures of the night like me.
Unlike Ewropean (typo intended) countries where everything is fucking dead and closed at night.
Anyways, something pretty hilarious happened in the coin laundry.
Remember that beige-ish T-shirt that was supposed to be white?
Mezu washed some of his brand new white T-shirts in the same machine as me, and guess what happened?
My T-shirt became whiter, his became less white. I stole some of his whiteness.
He was kinda pissed but I found that absolutely hilarious.
Of course, these kinds of places also have dryers, so you don't have to walk out with wet laundry.
After that endeavor, we went back to the hotel to drop off our clean clothes, then headed back out.
At this point it was past 02:30.
We were just walking around, hopping between claw machine stores, wasting money trying to win prizes.
After many attempts and losses, I took a break and went to the nearest convenience store, where I found this.

Of course, I had to try the LUCK+ stat buff potion (I mean, coffee) and go back to the claw machines.
Either the potion had almost no effect because my LUCK stat is abysmally low, or it was a temporary buff that ran out while I was playing.
I think at this point, Mezu left again, so Gozu and I went back to our hotel.
Of course, as very normal tourists, we went to sleep to have energy for the next day...
I'm sorry, that's a lie.
INSTEAD, WE LISTENED TO MUSIC ON THE TV!
At some point, I put on some Bollywood songs, and Gozu started recommending me other Bollywood songs.

This is Khalibali, which I already knew and already had in my playlist.
Out of all the songs Gozu recommended to me, Malang is my favorite, so I added it to my playlist.
In the meantime, Mezut Ozil, I mean Mezu, was walking back to the hotel, after partying all night.

He entered the room, saw we were awake listening to music on TV, we chatted a bit, and finally went to sleep, even though it was already morning and people outside were out on their morning jog.
This all happened during day 1, or rather, night 1.
Day/night 2: Are you stealing?
Not that much happened that day, I think Mezu and Gozu went to the other side of the city while I was sleeping, and then Gozu came back alone, so we decided to go out together.
I woke up around 16:30 that day, so I skipped breakfast and went straight for a late lunch.
Our late lunch was KFC: Korean Fried Chikin.
This is not a typo, chikin (치킨) is a loanword from chicken.

Yangnyeom chikin (양념치킨) is seasoned with a sweet and spicy sauce of gochujang (고추장), which is red chili paste.
In fact I am not really sure if that dish is Yangnyeom chikin (양념치킨) or another variety, but let's just say it was, since it looks very similar to images on Wikipedia...
Needless to say it was spicy as hell!
After that, I went for a swim at the beach.
Gozu didn't want to swim, so I left my belongings with him and ran straight to the water.
I swam for like 15 minutes, and before getting out, I decided to collect some seashells.
I must've looked very suspicious, crouched over the water, grabbing stuff and stuffing it into my shorts' pockets.
So suspicious that a Korean policeman came up to me and asked if I was stealing stuff...
I tried so hard not to burst out laughing, then told him I wasn't stealing, just collecting seashells.
I pulled the seashells out of my pockets, showed him, and he left.
Gozu was just a few meters away, looking at me, puzzled.
I walked up to him with my seashells, told him the story, and he laughed so hard.
Meanwhile, Mezu was still on the other side of the city, on the other beach.

After that, we went back to the hotel, showered, and probably stayed in to relax.
I have no recollection and very few pictures of what happened between then and the next day.
There are only three things I remember:
- Going to the arcade near the hotel with Gozu, playing air hockey, and losing to him.
- Going out at night and playing a stall game where I had to throw darts to pop balloons. I won a two-sided tentacle plushie.
- A few hours later, eating a double egg sandwich from a convenience store and going back to the hotel to sleep.
After that, nothing.

Day 3: silly sunglasses!
The day before, I had ordered a bunch of silly sunglasses on Coupang, which is like Amazon, but in Korea.
I ordered three of them for 1,800 KRW each, totaling 5,400 KRW, which is equivalent to 3.63 EUR at the time of writing.

The dude on the TV is Venjent, whom I mentioned in the previous post.
And the song that was playing is SUE SUNO.
I gave a pair each to Mezu and Gozu, because we would need them later.
Since they had already had lunch, I decided to go out for a solo breakfast, at 16:30.

After my exquisite and luxurious breakfast with a view of the ocean, I had to go back to the hotel, because Mezu and Gozu were waiting for me.
We had a lot planned for the day, starting with a taxi to the city center.

I wasn't hungry yet, since I had breakfast not too long ago, but they decided to get dinner.
Yes, you read that right, dinner, when it wasn't even 18:30.
Our meal and sleep schedules were all completely fucked up.
And aside from that, there's also the fact that Mezu is a goddamn glutton and eats 5 meals a day.
After their dinner, which I spent watching them both eat, we went to get coffee, and I got myself a matcha bubble tea.
I wonder how many matcha-flavored things I've eaten and drunk up to this point?

Then we were walking around in the city center, going into shops and shit, until we stumbled upon a big arcade with air hockey tables.
I was hoping to get my revenge on Gozu, since I already lost once against him.

As you probably guessed, I lost to Gozu again, but I won against Mezu, who also lost to Gozu.
So here's the leaderboard:
- Gozu: 3 wins, 0 losses
- Enma: 1 win, 2 losses
- Mezu: 0 wins, 2 losses
Then we played a whole bunch of other arcade games which weren't as fun as air hockey anyway.
After we left the arcade, Mezu the glutton was hungry again, so he bought a shrimp burger.

And after his meal, we went to get bubble tea.

Then we split up once again. Gozu and I went back to the hotel, and Mezu went somewhere else, probably partying again.
After a few hours of sitting in the hotel room doing nothing, I decided to go to a PC bang (PC방) alone, while Gozu stayed at the hotel, even though it was already past midnight.
The one in Seoul (서울) doesn't count, since I just took some pictures and left.

I had no idea at first if the order went through, I clicked random buttons until the cart emptied.
I also have no idea what I even ordered and ate...
I only know from the text on-screen that my drink is a peach iced tea.
I stayed in there for like 2 hours, and spent that whole time watching YouTube.
You could only play pre-installed games, which were all shit.
Shit like League of Legends, CS2, Overwatch 2, and all that popular garbage...
I would have loved to log into Steam and play some Craftopia or ASTRONEER but installing new games was sadly restricted.
Then I went back to the hotel and did nothing interesting, aside from using my laptop for a few hours before going to sleep.

Day 4: hand-drawn picture of us wearing the silly sunglasses

When I woke up that day, Mezu was already back from wherever he had been, and we went to swim at the beach.
I didn't have breakfast or anything, we just went down and straight into the water.
This time, Gozu wasn't here to guard our belongings, so we just trusted the Koreans and left our stuff somewhere visible, with the phones hidden under a pile of clothes.

And then after swimming, we went back to the hotel, showered, and headed out again, because we had something special planned with the sunglasses: getting a hand-drawn picture of the three of us by an artist.

Here's the Instagram of the artist: @owlcaricature_
Then we quickly stopped by the hotel to drop off the drawings, and went to get dinner at a reasonable time for once, around 20:00.
Mezu wanted to eat lamb meat BBQ, so we did.

There's once again a huge blank in my memory between dinner time and the next picture.
This is why I should've written the blog posts while my memory of events was still fresh, but whatever.
Mezu was, of course, out partying somewhere, while we stayed at the hotel relaxing.
It was the last few hours anyway, because the next morning we had to leave early to catch a plane to Tokyo.
We took a taxi around 05:30 and arrived at Gimhae International Airport (김해국제공항) around 05:40.

I never got to drink that matcha milkshake carton.
I was too full at the time, and by the time I went through airport security, it was too late: they threw it away.
F's in chat for the cute matcha drink that was thrown away.
